Before entering the Lebaran month, the hotels occupancy in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates are increased 38 percent. This figure represents an increase in July 2011 compared with June last year. Guests who came to stay from the middle eastern countries.
This was revealed by the tourism department of Abu Dhabi on Monday (09/05/2011). The results also reflect an increase in all regions in the United Arab Emirates this year due to changes in the plan of the tourists as a reaction to the instability of political conditions in Syria, Bahrain, and Yemeni.
“Stability is a vital factor to attract tourists to a country. The people of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait used to take a trip to Syria, but Syria does not currently be their choice, no one wanted to go there now, or at least in the near future,” said Mohamed Amerah , economic consultant at the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
